The Vision Centre in Macquarie Park offers clients an experiential space to learn about new buildings and receive development updates. Designer Frost* Collective worked with Sheldon Interiors to deliver this high-quality centre with its adjoining office including open-plan workstations, booth seating and a large meeting room.
The client had concerns regarding acoustics in the space, but Woven Image’s Zen embossed acoustic panels were chosen to combat unwanted noise, while beautifully curving around walls and cut-to-shape to integrate with alcove seating, whiteboards and more. In a dynamic commercial setting, Zen not only delivered sound absorption, but added a special touch of character through its fluted panels and vertical linework.
The striking green theme is inspired by biophilic design principles – where humanity’s innate love for nature can be satisfied through the built environment, creating enriching spaces that are better tailored to our physiological needs. In Vineyard green, Zen contributes to the Visions Centre’s nature-inspired and calming atmosphere, enabling imagination to flourish.
